Coping with IoT Data on Google Cloud Platform
One of the most exciting things about the Internet of Things is how much data it generates. This huge sea of data is what allows us to use machine learning and other emerging technologies to give our users useful insights into their lives. Unfortunately, the technologies and protocols we developed to scale the web aren’t a perfect fit. They don’t always scale in the right way. We need a new set of tools to make our projects successful. In this talk Felipe Hoffa, a Developer Advocate at Google, will share a recipe for dealing with high volume IoT data: Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and BigQuery. This talk will include demos, and a discussion of managed and open source options.
